Allusion poétique à sa facilité de s’enflammer L'amadou est une substance spongieuse qui constitue la partie supérieure de la chair de certains champignons dont l'Amadouvier. C'est une espèce de feutre naturel qui s'utilise séché depuis la Préhistoire, principalement pour allumer le feu mais qui a bien d'autres utilisations.
