Taking advantage of the relief of Kermil beach in the seaside resort of Beg Meil, the photographer took pictures at different heights relative to the sea: from 1.5 m to 20 m<br>Flush with water (top picture), only the tallest structures on the island of sheep appear: lighthouse, wind, "summits" of the island. They seem longer than in reality because they are confused with their relfet by a mirage. Thus, it is clear the island floating above the sea, and be symmetrical about the horizontal. As the photographer climbed onto the beach, the picture becomes clearer and reflections fade: San Nicolas Island finally reached the sea
