The mimicry satanic leaf-tailed gecko (Uroplatus phantasticus) was one of our target species during our mission in madagascar. This species is quiet common but really hard to spot in the wild. After several night or search we finally were lucky enough to spotted it. This wild individual was photographed during the night in the Mitsinjo natural reserve. Madagascar Finalist at Namur contest (FINN) and Big Picture 2018. Highly commanded at GDT contest 2018.

Web-footed Gecko at sunset Namib Desert Namibia ; Nocturnal animals that live mostly nestled in deep burrows where some moisture are preserved during the day. Thin, spindly legs and large webbed feet are used to dig the burrows in the coastal Namib Desert. Webbed feet also aids in running over fine sand. Large, bulb-like dark brown and red eyes with vertical pupils, lack eyelids but are covered with a transparent scale, or spectacle, which is cleaned by periodic licking.

Giant bronze gecko (Ailuronyx trachygaster). The Giant bronze gecko (Ailuronyx trachygaster) is a enigmatic species rarely seen due to its preference for remaining high above the ground, and also because of its sandy-bronze colouration, which camouflages it against the stems and branches of its preferred tree, the coco-de-mer palm (Lodoicea maldivica) endemic to the Seychelles islands. Its area of occupancy is 13 km² and it is known from only two locations.
