Diver in front of the largest artificial reef ever built for scuba diving (printed in 3D concrete), in the Marine Protected Area of the Agatha coast. This is the first time in the world that such a structure has been submerged. The reef is located off Cap d'Agde, 3 km from the coast, at a depth of 20 m. The module weighs 105 tonnes, measures 6.50 m high, 8 m long and 6 m wide, and offers 430 m3 of diving volume. Immersion will take place in July 2022, as part of the Recif'lab program run by the Aire Marine Protégée de la côte agathoise. An artificial reef to relieve the pressure of scuba diving on natural sites.
