    Small winter gatehouse on the pond causeway, opposite the old Tronçais forges in the heart of the forest - Allier. Built in 1788 - 1789 on the pond causeway, the Water Master's gatehouse housed the person who controlled and regulated the water inflows. This small building, unique in the region, stands on the overhang separating the two small feed canals (coursiers) of the former forges. The 18-hectare Etang de Tronçais is located in the heart of the Forêt de Tronçais.
