Anne Claire Monna

Anne Claire Monna was born in 1978 in Burgundy.

Her universe of predilection has been nature since childhood. Her daily environment was a small village. Her reading led her to dream of wide-open spaces. She is fascinated by drawing and more specifically by animal documentary studies.

This special relationship with the living world led her to engage in biology studies.

Her approach on photography evolves as she hikes in nature that surrounds her, or in more distant regions. Through the picture she wants to relate this daily pleasure, this constantly renewed wonder throughout the seasons. Taking pictures is a way for her to discover or explore the place she finds herself in, collect elements, find the detail that creates a feeling. How can one show the color of a sound, the silhouette of the wind?

Holder of an advanced teacher certification (CAPES) in Biology, she teaches in a middle school in Burgundy.
