Benoît Personnaz

Born in Savoy, France, in 1966 and passionate with animals since I am a kid, this attraction has been strengthened by the time I met Christian Zuber in the context of an animal drawing school contest.

Then I could turn this passion animals into a real job as I have been working as a veterinary in the Upper-Rhine for a bit more than 20 years now. My veterinary studies also allowed me to focus working on wild sheep and chamois in the Bauges natural reserve and to approach the wild fauna in a very different way.

I’ve always been interested in painting (oil, acrylic and watercolor), but I’ve got into photography from 2006 so I could tackle digital pictures and its technics ! After having worked on macrophotography and landscapes by myself, I’ve quickly been into naturalistic photography and I’m devoting most of my free time to it now.
