Yannick Gouguenheim

Subaquatic photographer from southern France born in 1975, Yannick dives in the sea but especially in rivers, lakes and ponds in order to better understand the behavior of fish species in their natural habitat.

After his environmental studies (Professional river technician certificate, two-year technical degree in Nature Management and Protection, Biology professional license, professional fishing monitor and guide), he has been working for the past dozen years in different Fishing and Protection of the Aquatic Environment Departmental Federations (Vaucluse, Reunion island, Ardennes and Drome) as communication manager and environmental tutor.

He offers to rediscover the “ordinary” nature that you find around the corner or in the river next door. The desire to share these aquatic atmospheres is the root of these subaquatic shots.

You will discover in these frozen moments, borrowed to living or quieter waters from great spaces, the emotion of a photographer whose curious gaze plunges into the eyes of these mysterious denizens.
