Amateur photographer (I work as a consultant in a computer service company near Nantes, France), I only take pictures in natural environments.

It has been 11 years since I started taking pictures, first underwater pictures and then 2 years later on land. I’ve only known digital photography. I started by using a Nikon D100 with a Sealux housing, then my equipment evolved, ranging from the D200 to the D300S. I started diving 20 years ago and I learned everything around the Ile d’Oleron where I still regularly take pictures of the remarkable sea beds of the Northern Atlantic. This entails a certain amount of yearning for “chilly” and not always clear waters. I take pictures both in fresh water and in seawater alike. The green or brown atmospheres of the seas or in some waters are, in my opinion, places of unexpected discoveries that become very accessible during peaceful periods like the summer months. It’s been 5 years since I began dedicating myself to diving in ponds and rivers in the department of Loire et Cher, and to the land around these water sources in order to follow the evolution of species from birth to when they leave water including the larval stage (Mayfly, Dragonfly, Frogs, Newts, Crayfishes, Caddisflies, …). Each diving in these cloudy waters is a source of discovery and amazement to me. My trips to more exotic waters enable me to experience memorable encounters. The teeth marks of a tiger shark or of a dominant male sea lion on my camera protection are just as many good memories as excellent photography moments.

Since 2010, I have been nominated or awarded in several international (Montier-en-Der, FMISM of Marseille, Namur, Golden Turtle).
