As far as I can remember, my contact with nature has always been regular and permanent. I was first staring at a lot of things while walking all across Lorraine and then I’ve been quickly tempted by photography. With my brother, we were sharing our devices that we bought with our poor savings. The result was not so good, nor the devices but the emotion was full.
At the time, the imperative was to capture the observations without taking quality or aesthetics in consideration. All through the years, and thanks to more efficient devices, I slowly improved my shot technics.
As I was graduated the Strasbourg Hotel Management school and had not so much time every day, I get involved for a long time in macrophotography, studio photography and capturing exotic fishes in aquariums (one of my passions too).
I’ve also been working as the supervisor of an aquarium shop so I have more time to travel and to devote time to photography.
I now favor the blinding technic keeping hold of the contact with animals thanks to stalking or approaching technics which allowed me to gain observation and speed abilities. For a few years now, I’ve been devoting my time to the Alsacian Ried Fauna and Flora with my favorite 300 mm f :4 lens that enables me to take beautiful pictures that still have emotion and contact with animals. As a lot of us did, I bought a digital camera two years ago that enables me to limitlessly shot more dynamic pictures with more refined lights and atmospheres.
