Ignacio Yufera

Ignacio Yufera

Ignacio Yufera (Madrid, 1968) studied photography in the Parsons School of Design in Paris. Since 2005 he has traveled extensively throughout the World in search of wild animals, especially birds. He spent several years living in Alberta, Canada, from where he traveled to the Canadian Arctic. He currently lives between Madrid and Panama.

His work has been published in several books and magazines, including BBC Wildlife, and has been exhibited in Spain and Canada. He is the author of the book “Birds of Morocco”, translated into 4 languages.

In 2007 he founded the Emberiza Fund (www.emberiza.org), which carries conservation and training projects in Uganda, Senegal and Spain.
