Christophe Migeon naît loin de la mer, à Tours, en 1965. Il ne commence qu'à plonger qu'à l'âge canonique de 25 ans, mais rattrape le temps perdu en enchaînant sorties et brevets. A la sixième plongée, se sentant les mains vides, il prend avec lui un appareil photo sous-marin qui ne le quittera plus guère sauf pour aller chez le réparateur, l'eau ayant une étonnante tendance à vouloir rentrer dedans. 1 500 plongées plus tard, de l'Aber Benoît à la Tasmanie, il a accumulé quelques milliers d'images et s'investit dans ce qui lui semble être le viatique indispensable à tout plongeur digne de ce nom : la biologie marine ou plus exactement l'étude des différentes bestioles susceptibles d'être rencontrées sous l'eau.
Diplômé de l'ESC Toulouse, il porte pendant plus de douze ans un joli costume ainsi qu'une élégante cravate et assume plus ou moins bien son rôle de cadre d'entreprise entre deux plongées. En 1999 tombe la première pige avec le magazine Océans, puis Buceadores en Espagne. Encouragé par ces premiers essais, en 2002, il décide de faire le grand saut et de réaliser son vieux rêve de gamin : faire du reportage, vivre de sa plume et de ses photos en tant que journaliste-photographe. Poursuite de la collaboration avec la presse plongée bien sûr ( Océans et Buceadores), mais aussi découverte du monde du trek et de la randonnée avec la presse spécialisée ainsi que les généralistes avec notamment l'Express et VSD.
En 2006, il rejoint l'équipe du nouveau magazine de voyage Road Book.
