I always say I have four interests in life. Wildlife, photography, travel and computers. Fortunately modern wildlife photography means all four combine well into one interest, be it an expensive one.
I became addicted to photography while working as a zookeeper in my early teens and have since travelled to over 50 countries seeing and photographing the wildlife. For the last 14 years I have been able to live off the income from my photography, but this has involved workshops, lecturing and tour leading as well as selling pictures. Now I have a small pension too and intend spending more time than ever travelling and taking pictures.
Birds and mammals are my main interest and despite travelling to more exotic locations I love photographing my own local wildlife in the U.K.
