At a young age I became interested in photography, took my camera everywhere. I shot everything and anything from flowers, landscapes, traveling and sports. In the 80's and 90's I combined my photography with my love for skydiving and became a freefallphotographer. Later my focus was more on my family and nature. Eventually I changed more and more back to nature and wildlife photography, a passion that I always had, but could not pursue do to lack of time. In 2017 I got interested in camera trapping, I started building my own set-up and was able to take the first images of the more elusive animals im my area. Since then I build and operate several DSLR camera traps in different areas within Switzerland. In 2023 I retired from my job as IT professional and consider my self a full-time nature photographer ;-). More than 50 publications in books, magazines, news reports including one image sold to National Geographic.
