Marco Valentini

Marco Valentini, Italian born, live and work in Rome, dealing with biodiversity conservation’s issues; former Chair of the CITES Scientific Review Group for the European Union, is now devoted to wildlife photography, having framed more than 1800 species around the world and having travelled more than 90 countries. Provider of the Cornell laboratory of ornithology library, he was finalist in 2019 at the People’s choice Award – Wildlife Photograper of the Year; has won the national contest for the 50th Anniversary of Birdlife – LIPU Italia in 2016, and every year his photos have been published in the Bird Photographer of the Year Yearbook.
