Andy Murch

Andy Murch is a photojournalist specializing in sharks and rays. His images have been published in hundreds of books and magazines including titles as varied as National Geographic, the New York Times and the Journal of Zoology.

He is the co-author of Diving with Sharks and the primary photographer in numerous other publications focusing on sharks

Originally hailing from the UK, Andy left England after dropping out of university to explore the road less traveled. He has since racked up an impressive list of achievements, including award winning photographer, marine conservationist, author, journalist, explorer, dive instructor and submarine pilot.

He is also the CEO and primary trip leader at Big Fish Expeditions. When not on assignment, he can usually be found chasing obscure and endangered shark and ray species to provide compelling images for conservation initiatives.
