I was born in 1959 in the Rhone, France and I have always been in a photographical environment as my father was a local press correspondent and would often bring me with him on his reports.
In the same time, I’ve been interested very early in nature and more specifically in ornithology. I notably followed the ‘Great’ from the Rhone-Alpes Ornithological Center to Camargue.
I finally tried to combine both of my passions: photography and ornithology.
Now, as a journalist for French broadsheet The Dauphiné Libéré, I’m going on the field as often as possible, in Provence, my area, favoring Camargue and the Mont Ventoux Formation. And, for a few years now, I’ve regularly been to Scotland.
Hidden or stalked, terrestrial or floating, what I like above all is to fade into the environment, trying to be forgotten by what’s surrounding me, so I can attend the show they are performing in the best conditions
