Born in 1973 in Sydney Australia, I have always been fascinated by photography since my early days of high school. Starting out with my own darkroom and processing black and white film. Once digital photography became affordable I started to spend more and more time getting out in nature and discovered the world of Macro photography. I still like to spend time with landscape photography and nature in general but most of my photography is now based on Macro- especially jumping spiders. Ever since finding and photographing these tiny little spiders I have become obsessed with them, now working alongside some of Australia and the world's leading scientists to study and discover more of them. I take great pleasure in showing the people who view my photography the amazing world of these spiders and all the other wonderful creatures that they would not even know existed. I have had my work published in several Australian publications.
