Dave Watts

Originally trained in UK as Forest Officer specialising in wildlife management. Lived in Australia for 20 years first working with Parks & Wildlife Service then branching out as a full time wildlife photographer and author. Dave has written and illustrated many books about Australian wildlife including: “Australia’s Spectacular Wildlife”, “Kangaroos & Wallabies of Australia”, “Field Guide to Birds of Tasmania”, “Tasmanian Mammals, a Field Guide” plus due to be released in January 2008 “Where to Watch Wildlife in Tasmania”.

Dave is an ardent and committed conservationist who feels proud that so many of his images have been used by many of the world’s conservation organisations.

At present Dave is based with his wife Helen in the UK.
