I was born in 1964 and I’ve been working in my own restaurant in England for the past 22 years. First my dad gave me the taste for birds’ observation and I went to see them with him for a long time before I learnt photography with my uncle Philippe. My first camera was a Canon AE1 with the novoflex system. I had to save money for 4 years to be able to afford it. I’ve got two passions: cooking and photography. I try to travel a bit but it’s not always easy with the restaurant, that’s why I’m interesting in the species living in my area.
What I really appreciate is to be seating in a shed for hours and see things that nature gives but just a few people can see as they don’t focus enough. One of my dream would be not to do anything but photo.
I take the advantage of this presentation to thank my parents who always encouraged me to do what I wanted to do in my life, and my wife, for her great patience.
