Before 90 years, Vicuna was in great danger of extinction. The Conacs is an organization of the Ministry of Environment, whose role is to organize the world's Camélidé in Peru, particularly the vicuna, which is an animal impossible to raise and domesticate it only supports their natural habitat, which involves a large component, especially as its wool is by far the best and indeed the most expensive. Poaching has consistently décroitre, and the number of vicunas to rise. One company in Peru until 2004 had operating rights, Incalpa, and not get as wool controlled by the Conacs on the ground.
