Empreintes fossilisées de mammifères de l'époque Oligocene dans le Luberon (dalle de Saignon). Empreinte à 3 doigts de Ronzotherium (Rhinoceros), et à 2 doigts d'Entélodon (Phacochère). Ancien rivage boueux d'un lac, la dalle à empreintes fossiles de Saignon est un site exceptionnel où sont conservées des centaines de traces de pas de mammifères (des parents du rhinocéros, du chevrotain ou du phacochère) et des empreintes d’oiseaux, animaux qui peuplaient le Luberon il y a 33 millions d’années.
