With blanket snow covering the plateau, this Mountain Hare was able to blend into his surroundings whilst preening. In order to keep warm and dry, they must regularly maintain their fur, keeping it clean and free of parasites or debris. Whilst trying to preen his chest, he would stick his tongue out before reaching down.
