A young female leopard, 1 years old, exploring its territory. It's going along the bank on the River Mara, and going out of the bush, it's running into a Nile crocodile lying on a rock, with its maw opened. Instead of fleeing, it comes nearer of this still animal with its eyes well opened. It comes nearer, turns around, sits next to it and only a little movement would let it react and yowl. The leopard went down to drink very next to the crocodile and even went close to its opened maw! For around 10 minutes the crocodile could have caught the leopard with its springiness. None of the Maasaï people to whom I showed this picture had already seen such a situation.
