Xavier Eichaker is a French naturalist photographer renowned for his ability to capture wildlife in extreme environments. His images, imbued with poetry and scientific rigour, have been distributed by the Biosphoto agency since 1990. One of his most emblematic subjects is the sand cat, one of the most discreet felines adapted to desert environments. Xavier had the opportunity to photograph this rare feline in the Tin-Toumma desert in Niger, revealing its stealth and adaptation to a hostile environment. He has also documented the great horned owl, an owl with a hypnotic gaze, capturing its majestic silhouette in the dunes of the Sahara.
