A professional wildlife photographer, Tony Crocetta has been documenting wildlife on five continents for decades. A specialist in animal behaviour, he meticulously captures rare scenes of animal life, whether land mammals, marine species or migratory birds. Born in the suburbs of Paris, he discovered the living world at a very early age through Christian Zuber's television documentaries, the starting point for a lifelong commitment to nature.
Based in Kenya, in the heart of the Masai Mara reserve, he conducts field reports on the ecological dynamics of major African ecosystems. As a founding member of the Noé Conservation association, he takes part in concrete actions to preserve endangered species. He also co-directs Cheetah For Ever, a programme to protect cheetahs in partnership with local communities.
Tony Crocetta shares his expertise through conferences, exhibitions and scientific festivals (Montier-en-Der, Festival de l'Oiseau, Festival du Scoop d'Angers). His work is regularly published in the specialist and general press (GEO, Terre Sauvage, BBC Wildlife, etc.). He organises naturalist photo safaris in Kenya, focusing on ethical observation and the transmission of knowledge about wildlife.
