Marc Tisseau captures the wild soul of Brittany's coastline.
Marc Tisseau is a French wildlife photographer from Brittany, with a passion for the coastal fauna he has explored since childhood. He began wildlife photography at the age of 12, then went on to study biology and ecology at La Rochelle, combining his scientific training with his commitment to nature conservation.
His method combines an ethical approach and aesthetics: he favours the aesthetics of the image by integrating the animal into its environment, playing with light, landscapes and weather conditions. Focusing mainly on seabirds (gulls, cormorants, puffins, etc.), every summer he criss-crosses Brittany's Sept-Îles and cliffs, photographing sensitive species and coastal landscapes.
Despite his young age, Marc Tisseau already has a solid track record: finalist and winner of numerous prizes and competitions (Montier-en-Der, Namur, Golden Turtle, GDT European Wildlife) between 2016 and 2022. His work has been exhibited at photo festivals (Montier-en-Der, Atout Sud, Natur'images) and in local media libraries (Theix-Noyalo, Locminé, Cap Fréhel, etc.).
