Husni Che Ngah is a Malaysian photographer specialising in macro photography, renowned for his ability to capture the fascinating details of microscopic fauna. Based in Teluk Pasu, he shares this passion with his wife, Jazmah Abdullah, an expert in flora, particularly fungi and plants. Together they explore the forests of Malaysia, braving the difficult terrain and heat to photograph insects, spiders and other small creatures often invisible to the naked eye.
Their work has been published in books such as Spiders - 100 Common Species in Penang and Fungi, Insects and Spiders of Merbok, in collaboration with the University of Sains Malaysia. Their methodical and patient approach allows them to capture unique moments, such as spiders jumping or insects interacting, offering an intimate and detailed perspective of nature.
