A wildlife photographer based in Septeuil in the Yvelines, Guy Van Langenhove has been working since 1983 to capture wildlife at its most authentic. Guest of honour at the Rencontres Photo Passion 78, he was awarded the Gold Medal of the French Federation of Photography (FFPMI) in 2020, followed by the Silver Medal at the Festival de l'Oiseau et de la Nature in 2023. He has also been nominated for the prestigious Wildlife London and World Photographic Cups.
His images illustrate European wildlife (birds, foxes, herons, etc.) and beyond, always with a keen eye for behaviour and atmosphere. His most striking subjects include white-tailed eagles, gulls in action and interactive crows, elegantly captured in Norway, France (Sologne, Morbihan) and elsewhere.
Rooted in the landscapes of the Yvelines, Guy Van Langenhove combines passion, patience and technical expertise. His trademark: meticulous compositions, an acute sense of detail and suspended moments that reveal the unsuspected beauty of nature.
