Ervin Horesnyík is a Slovak naturalist photographer born in 1992. His passion for photography began in 2014 with the purchase of his first DSLR camera. He then trained on specialist courses, devoting himself fully to nature photography from 2015 onwards. He favours stalking and unobtrusive observation to capture authentic moments of wildlife, including scenes from the lives of foxes, deer and birds.
Ervin Horesnyík has won several prestigious awards, including the Grand Prize in the international Milvus Nature Photography Contest in 2024 for his silhouette of a chamois. He was also a finalist in the WildArt Photographer of the Year competition, with photos such as ‘Jin and Jang’ and ‘Gidaportré’, which were exhibited at the European Parliament Photo Exhibition in Brussels.
He continues to share his passion for nature through his images, raising public awareness of the beauty and fragility of wildlife.
