Denis Bringard, a freelance professional photographer based in Belfort since 1990, specialises in macro photography, nature, the environment and heritage. A member of the Biosphoto agency since 1989, he developed a fascination for the tiny world at a very early age, photographing insects in flight from 1979 onwards, a technical challenge he met with rare precision.
His work is not limited to macro photography: he also explores local photography, the landscapes of Alsace and Franche-Comté, regional heritage and aerial and underwater photography. Through his images, he seeks to reveal the discreet beauty and richness of biodiversity, while raising awareness of the need to preserve natural environments.
The author of several books, including Instants d'insectes, Couleur Alsace and Couleur Franche-Comté with Claude Vautrin, he also illustrates children's stories, combining poetry with a scientific eye. His photographs are regularly published in specialist magazines.
With his technical mastery, patience and attentive eye, Denis Bringard invites us to rediscover the living world from an intimate and surprising angle, where the invisible becomes the spectacle.
