A passionate photographer, Daniel Heuclin immortalizes the beauty and behavior of the most dangerous reptiles.

Daniel Heuclin is a passionate French photographer specializing in venomous reptiles and other rare species. Fascinated by snakes from an early age, he nurtured this interest through zoo visits and an in-depth study of their behavior. After studying medicine, he chose to devote himself fully to wildlife photography, combining his love of nature with his thirst for discovery.

Renowned for his incredible composure, Daniel Heuclin gets up close and personal with the world's most dangerous snakes to capture unique images. His work demands patience, precision and a perfect mastery of animal behavior, as these species perceive the slightest movement and can react very quickly. Over the years, he has been bitten several times by cobras, vipers and rattlesnakes, testifying to the constant risks associated with his profession. He raises and studies several hundred animals at his refuge, from venomous snakes to lizards, crocodiles, tarantulas and other fascinating species, whom he photographs with meticulous attention to their natural behavior, always seeking to capture their essence.

An active member of the French Herpetological Society, Daniel Heuclin regularly shares his knowledge through lectures and exhibitions in institutions dedicated to nature. His work aims to raise public awareness of the fragile beauty of these often misunderstood species, and of the importance of a respectful relationship between Man and Nature.
