Clément Fontaine is a French naturalist photographer and conservationist born in 1995. Passionate about nature since childhood, he began photographing wildlife at the age of eight. After studying biology, ecology, conservation and animal behaviour at the University of Paris-Sud, he devoted himself fully to wildlife and conservation photography.
His work has taken him to the four corners of the world: Vancouver Island, Alaska, the Himalayas, the Pantanal, Nepal, Ladakh, etc. There, he documents biodiversity, ecological issues and local conservation initiatives. His images bear witness to both the raw beauty of nature and its fragility. He also makes a number of documentaries available on YouTube, extending his approach with a cinematic perspective.
Clément is also the founder of Wild Alpine Travel, a committed eco-tourism agency. He organises naturalist expeditions in sensitive areas, combining immersion, photography and support for local communities. Through his approach, which combines science, art and commitment, he invites everyone to gain a better understanding of living things - and to take action to preserve them.
