Christophe Florin, nature photographer, tells the story of wildlife with emotion.
Christophe Florin is a passionate nature photographer, born in the heart of the French forests. Attracted to wildlife from an early age, he devoted himself to ‘photographic hunting’ in the wild. In 1990, he joined the Biosphoto agency after his first exhibition in 1987. His work is characterised by an ethical approach: he photographs exclusively free-living animals, in their environment, without the use of enclosures. He favours narrative slideshows that capture the emotion of his encounters. In 2009, he co-authored Le cerf - De la Normandie aux Pyrénées, a book packed with 300 photographs. His aim: to share his wonder at nature and awaken public awareness of the beauty of living things.
