Bruno Cavignaux has been exploring the natural environments of Lorraine and Alsace (France) for many years, with a particular interest in the Alsatian Ried and the Rhine forest. A passionate self-taught photographer, his first photographs were simply personal accounts of his encounters with local wildlife. Today, his work aims to share and convey the intense emotion that comes from contact with wild nature.
His photographic approach is based on immersion: understanding behaviour, sensing the atmosphere of a place, to capture authentic moments. His images cover a wide range of subjects - birds, mammals, forest scenes - but always with the same desire to tell a story and evoke a visual emotion.
For Bruno, wildlife photography is more than just an image: it stimulates the imagination, invites dreams and discovery, and reminds us of the deep bond between man and nature. His photographs are inseparable from their stories, and he attaches particular importance to the pleasure of sharing them.
Recognised and appreciated locally, he has given talks and presented his “magical moments” as a wildlife photographer.
