Andrey Gudkov is a Russian wildlife photographer renowned for his exceptional images of wildlife, meticulously capturing rare behaviors and intense natural scenes. A member of several prestigious international photographic institutions, he has devoted over a decade to documenting animal migration in Africa, as well as to ambitious projects such as the capture of humpback whales, which required several years of patient observation. Among his most notable achievements was a three-year expedition to obtain permission to photograph one of Cuba's largest flamingo colonies, illustrating his commitment to working in depth and with respect for natural environments.
His work, hailed with numerous distinctions including gold medals from the Royal Photographic Society and the Photographic Society of America, blends artistry, high-level technique and ecological sensitivity. He is also the author of a photo book dedicated to endangered biodiversity, in which his images bear witness to the fragile beauty of the natural world.
